Variant of Lava Bubble

Fireballs[1] are Lava Bubble–like obstacles in New Super Mario Bros. 2. They appear throughout the second half of World 2-Castle and World 6-2, both of which feature platforms that slowly move on the surface of lava. Fireballs also appear in World Star-7. They usually jump out of the lava in quick succession in sets of four, falling back down following an arch-shaped trajectory, but can also be found leaping at spaced-apart intervals. Fireballs can be defeated by Gold Mario's fireballs.
